History of Cameron Highland
In 1929, John Archibald Russell (son of the then British Governor-General) developed tea cultivation here until World War Two. In 1957, Cameron Highlands was transferred to the Government of the Federation of Malaya.

The climate of Cameron Highlands
Cameron Highlands is one of the few places in Malaysia that has a tropical highland climate. The average annual temperature is about 18°C, and it often ranges from 15°C to 25°C throughout the year.
Due to its good natural environment and cool climate, Cameron Highlands has become a famous holiday destination in Malaysia.
The most visited places are tea gardens, gardens, vegetable gardens, strawberry gardens, bee gardens, butterfly gardens, and cactus worlds.
